I really enjoyed our reunion, seeing so many old familiar faces (looking remarkably like their parents), and missing others. So many people expressed reluctance to use Facebook, but wanted to stay in touch. When I broached the idea of a blog, many responded positively.
Please let me know what you think about it. We also talked about getting together semi-regularly here in Georgia.

The 40th was the second reunion I've attended, the first being the 10th. Except for contacting Gale White upon realizing we both lived in Minneapolis at the time, and a brief visit with Vickie Beech and Regina Copeland (r.i.p.) a few years ago, I had no contact with my fellow WHS graduates.
ReplyDeleteUntil Classmates.com, briefly, and then Facebook.com. These two venues, plus email, totally changed the ability to get AND KEEP in touch.
The reunion was a blast. Alas, I met no one living in or around central Arkansas, so subsequent mini-reunions seem out of the question. But I encourage all the rest of y'all to visit one another when possible, even if only for the sake of keeping in touch.
